Utilize Your Local Library

I love going to my local library! Not only do they have great books to borrow, but they also have movies, music, magazines and tons of other resources available. Jason and I have saved a ton of money just by checking movies out from the library instead of renting them. A lot of libraries offer inter library loan as well, so if they don't carry something you want they can help you find it at a different library and then have it sent to your local library for a loan period. My kids love going to the library too. Austin loves to look at the books and wander around. Many library locations offer various programs for kids such as story time or crafts. We used to go to the story time in Provo all the time and Austin still sings songs he learned there.

Vinegar

A cleaning tip I learned that has saved me money is to use vinegar instead of windex. I have found it works better and is a lot cheaper! I had a bottle of windex that was almost gone and I just filled it with vinegar.

Shower head

SO this is pretty random, but I thought it was pretty awesome. On the doctors I learned that, your shower head can actually hold harmful bacteria. One way to disinfect it is by using one part white vinegar one part water. Soak your shower head in this combination for 15mins-1hour. My shower head would not come off. I used a plastic Ziploc bag,filled it with the solution, put it over the shower head, and used a rubber band to hold it. I let it soak for an hour, and it looks soo AMAZING! It was super easy, and was really effective. I would suggest this to everyone!!
